Moving into our rooms

Arriving

We are now arriving, welcomed by some of the instructors

Approaching Cowes

From the Jenny boat we can see some dinghies out by the sheltered area where we may well sail on this trip.

The Car ferry departing for Southampton

Our passage was slightly delayed as we had to let this monster past - 9 containers high above the deck!!

In the Solent

It's a lovely day out in the Solent, and there are many sailing craft out here with us.

We are now approaching Osborne House, Queen Victoria's residence on the Isle of Wight, perched on the headland just before we turn left towards Cowes. This picture also shows a keel boat, very similar to the ones that the children (in groups of 6) will have a chance to sail out here in the Solent at some stage during our visit.

All aboard

We are now all on the Jenny M, with our luggage stowed away on board. Soon we hall leave for the UKSA at Cowes - the tracker will follow our journey

Ferry arrival

Our ferry - the Jenny M - is now arriving

Waiting for the ferry

We’re waiting for the ferry so have taken the chance to have a snack

Comfort break

We have now arrived at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, so it’s time for a comfort break

The joys of the M25

Goodbye everybody

 See you again next Monday!!

The tracker is on so you can follow our progress to the UKSA.

Woodside Road is quiet

For now, Woodside Road is quiet. The coach is here, waiting for you all to arrive for a 7:30 departure.
